Simon Tyler – Personal Background

Simon still remains the “baby” of the family to his 3 siblings …

He was educated at Rendcomb College in Gloucestershire and at Lanchester Polytechnic (now Coventry University) where he nearly (3 years out of 4) completed a degree in Business Studies.

His first paid holiday job was working in a factory making Loo Blu (yes in the 70s Blue water in your toilet bowl was the very height of sophistication) where working through lunch breaks gave him more income and thus started a lifetime of longer than average hours in pursuit of better than average results for him and his clients.

Simon and Rosemary were married in April 1984 and their 3 children now all have careers in the world creativity and communications and they have themselves, delivered 3 grandsons to add to the family so far, Rosemary continues to have a very busy Nursing career.

Simon is a keen, but limited, sportsman having spent 55 years playing Rugby and in recent years became a regular runner until knee damage took its toll, exercise is now mainly confined to gym work.

Apart from watching most sports his other major activity is watching and listening to Comedy.
